They would terrible even to a seasoned wielder! Heat radiates. Lightsabers put off heat. Anything that generates enough head to cut through metal/bone/etc. that quickly, and with as much heated surface area as the blades have, would likely char the shit out of the hands/arms of anyone who wielded them.

I was able to get my characters transferred, but don't have the weapons that are supposed to be available for doing so (or the weapons from the collectors edition that were also supposed to transfer). Exactly, it is like i-level for Wow. Nothing really odd or out of place about it as long as you understand the mechanic — which was totally transparent as soon as I hit 20 and saw a progress bar when hovering my cursor near "light" on the inventory screen.

I can only justify a preorder these days if the game is something that needs backing in order to actually happen. Even then, I find myself canceling just about every preorder I've made in the last year mere weeks before the game comes out so I can see reviews from several sources before I take the plunge.
