@blyan-reloaded: Actually when comparing straight across it is about $30 cheaper than the 3G iPad . Comparing the Galaxy Tab to the wifi only iPad is an unfair comparison.

@xaronax: How about my flat roofed southwestern home built on a slab?

For me. one of the biggest difference makers is the user interface.

@Almightywhacko: Other's have reported that this will be a dual mode phone, carrying both GSM and CDMA capability. With that feature it puts it in a whole new class yet to be touched by other Android phones. And something I have been waiting very impatiently for!

@John Eusebio: I'm not sure that your first point is entirely accurate.

@Kralous: While I agree that the egocentric attitude of most Americans helps to create anti US semtiment throughout the world, I think there is more to it than that.

@ccs2653: Ho long do you think it will take for that to become grammatically correct?

I can certainly vouch for number three at the Salt Lake airport. It is a hub for Delta, but the express line for frequent flyers and first class was always much shorter than the standard line, except really early in the morning when there wasn't anyone in either line.

@Calvin Neal: Good point on the seemingly unchangeable icons. I had the same problem with applications form the Office suite.

@kasrhp: Edited: for lack of early morning reading comprehension.

I might pay iPad prices for this device, but no more that that. I'm pretty sure everyone else interested is in the same boat.

@haikuginger: Thank you for that. This sensor doesn't have some amazing new technology to pull in that much light. It pulls in tons of light because it's hundreds of time bigger that the standard sensor.

@Brightmotor: Thank you! It amazes me that the Air Force can be so far advanced in most areas, and still using floppy disks in others. I remember when we gos brand new Dell Laptops, the rugged kind. The batteries would literally be halfway dead by the time you got it to boot and then signed in as a user. And we were

@tvh2k: Actually I just got out last November. :)

@tvh2k: My time in the Air Force didn't really give me the impression of a functional network. Even brand new computers would take upwards of 20 min just to boot, email systems were severely limited, and acquiring replacement computers practically took an act of congress.

I don't really understand why everyone says that a 7" iPad would be too small for reading.

@Tech-Ninja: At least with the Seagate version you don't have to deal with it being hot pink.

Wonder if he'll be bringing it to the Albuquerque fiesta, I'd love to see it we we go this fall. Though there isn't a chance I would ever go up in it or anything like it!

@GodsBurden: Verizon only controls the operating system on basic and feature phones. They stopped messing around with smartphones years ago.
