Yes, but it’s predecessor was just as absurd

This is the only right answer.

I’ll just leave this here.

FAKE, it was NOT T-Shirt weather and sunny AF this weekend in the city :P

Counterpoint, there is a 90% chance that car has never seen a track or other motorsports action in its life. The owner probably tells people he races, but has never done anything more than get the car to break traction on an on ramp in the rain while shitting his (or her) pants.

Or the Soul. Made for hip-hop hamster loving youth, driven by Boomers.

Reminds me of the Element: marketed for 20-something surfers, sold to 40-somethings instead.

If they bring this to market exactly as depicted, I predict it will be a massive flop.

PSA motorsports never make sense, they win a lot but they never use any of that knowledge in their cars. Citroën has won so many rally championships, yet they decided to only build FWD cars. Peugeot never actually built a halo car, lots of concepts but all that hypercar tech went to waste.

This guy probably does

First, I’m not a “if it’s not an 8 foot bed it’s not worth it” kind of guy, but that looks like a really short bed. The 5.5' or whatever it is on the Raptor is as small as I can see being useful.

“Santa Cruz is for those who want all the traditional attributes of a compact utility vehicle, but need the day-to-day versatility of an open bed. It’s the crossover that creates a whole new segment that successfully combines capability and utility to meet the unspoken needs of a new generation of buyers,

I want a mini-truck or a UTE. Not an SUV with a micro-bed in place of the hatch area.

I expect this to be a successful at the Ridgeline, which is, I guess doing OK? I saw a newer one yesterday.

I remember this one from a few years back. Pretty sure it was from Florida.

Those folks look to be going WAY too hot through traffic. I’m not saying lane splitting makes you invincible!

The point of this story is to bring more people INTO the know. Tell your friends!

A motorcycle safety campaign from the New York City Department of Transportation tells riders to “stay in middle of travel lane,” which would’ve ended poorly in this situation.
