Growing up in South Western Ontario, driving in snowy conditions becomes second nature, along with the safety precautions that one driver must take. Winter tires, check. Snow scraper, check. Removing snow and ice off all windows, lights, and roof, check!

I tend to usually pack some sour candies to keep me awake, and at least a litre of ice water. If i get too hungy though, I usually don't mind a quick pit-stop at a road side Tim Hortons.

@gman1023: My dad emigrated from Japan to Canada in the early 70's and has never bought a foreign car. His first car was a '73 Chevelle, then an '81 Dodge Ram van, and currently rides a '94 Olds Ninety-Nine (his 2nd). While in Hawaii for my brother's wedding, he rented a '05 Mustang.
