It's not hard to imagine when you remember that the mainstream media was in bed with the league so they had an interest in keeping the league looking good in the public eye (not as easy now with blogs, TMZ and the like). No one rats on their own interests. Kind of like how Deadspin writes about other companies'

A guy in my office has the Black Sea Barracuda above his cubicle, and every day I pray it is in pieces on the floor when I come in. I can't stand the guy, and two I hate that I can't bring in my Lego cars because it was claimed by him first.

I hear that hog gets 80 mpg.

Are we having fun yet?!!!

Well since you went there I'll just walk away now. No sense continuing with a moron.

I watch tv when I am lying in bed ready to fall asleep. Can I fix my car then? Maybe I can do it during the other 3 hours of the day where both my kids and I are awake. Eating, and stories can wait. I am sure my one year old girl would love to know how to pull off an oil change. Maybe on the weekend when I am catching

Actually it is "that" different for the employee. Employees get benefits such as being covered under discrimination and harassment laws. That can be huge. There are also other things that make it a bigger deal than just taxes.

It's not the know-how, it's the time. Anyone can swing a wrench, but how many can and want to fit it in between work and family.

Who leases a car then tries to trade it in 6 months later? Maybe a couple high rollers who can afford to, but the majority plan on holding the car until the end of the lease. Plus you forgot about GAP insurance which is required on most leases.

I know that if you lease and total the car that you get nothing in return. If someone like this guy were to total the car early while being 4-6k underwater would he still get to walk away free and clear? Not proposing he did this, just curious.

No, I gave you stories to back up the one union I mentioned. BTW, I take it that you have no defense for that and that is why you have moved to the "that's just one rogue union" point of view.

I'll let you do the reading. Come back when you have finished consulting with the handbook on how to spin it. While you are at it feel free to look up articles on the non union apartment building trying to be built by the Post Brothers.

Their guilty pleas to the federal charges is their citation

The idea of a union isn't a bad idea, it's the reality of what they have become that is the problem. I live in a city where unions are burning down churches because they decided to use non union employees for their new building. Or the apartment building that can't get built because the unions have their members

I'm 37 and my wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas this year. I gave her two options, the Lego VW camper, or the Lego Mini Cooper.

I learned that the finance guy is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Everyone knows and expects the sales guy to be shady, but then let their guard down once they get to the finance guy's office. A lot of times you don't even know what hit you until you are home. Just remember, the finance guy has the office, and the sales

That's called a "make me move." If they have it labeled as such then once again the buyer knows beforehand what the expectation is. Now if the seller didn't label it as such and is just soliciting offers with no real thought of selling then they are do nobody any favors.

Well I just sold my house this year so I would say I have some experience with what goes on with the purchase/sale of a house. I can't tell you how many times I wasted time and energy getting the house in show condition only to receive a call from my agent after saying "they liked it, but they only want to pay what

You know they are serious about selling since they did put the house on the market. The question is if you are really serious about buying. Throwing out a number that isn't even in the ballpark is a waste of time for everyone involved. The asking price isn't a secret. If you weren't interested in coming in close to

You do realize that innovation doesn't come from counterfeit companies right? By buying fakes you are stunting R&D, among many things. If you are fine with the same product for the rest off your life go for it, but if the OEM company bows out because there is no money to be made in that industry don't expect the
