Could be useful in a crowded house where the PS5 is connected to the main shared TV, but people want to actually watch TV while you want to play a game. But Sony didn’t really need to release a device for that. A PC streaming option was fine.

Yeah. Even if it did include streaming it’d be a very narrow use case.

Pay $200 to play PS5 on a smaller screen and likely with some lag.

Gonna just go ahead and call bullshit on Hinge’s stated goals.  They do NOT want you to delete the app, they want you to stay engaged so they can make money off you.  The fact that they SAY they want something, just makes it PR and Marketing spin.
