You said this would be better, remember? “A vacation from ourselves…”

I’d never wanted to see Octopussy…until now.

I have something bee-related in every category from that brief period I was on bumble.

Facebook, like most people I’ve met, is completely baffled about my ethnic affinity.

I like that the squares for “The Boston Globe” and “Headbanging” are right next to each other in “News & Entertainment.”

Who you someone meme it

If I were to go by my facebook squares I’d guess I work in tech-related venture capital. Incidentally I was an early adopter type before I started coding things myself—now I’m all “It works, it’s stable, let’s not mess with it!”

And my mother was a Scandinavian Johnson herself.

Blade Runner Blade Runner,

I don’t totally agree (I’m a big fan of Vivement dimanche, and of course the films listed here), but that’s interesting.

I think it’s also a matter that if you’re a pretty creative person you end up pushing boundaries regardless. Look at all the Christian artists through history who seem to push their work beyond Christian interpretations, but then you look at their biography or how it was interpreted at the time and it’s really not.

I really like Truffaut and have to admit that Day for Night looks way too…gooey…for me. I’m not in any hurry to watch it.

Forgive me for nerding out (though it’s appropriate digression in a Mohd-started thread), but the original voice actor for Lupin III (Yasuo Yamada) dubbed Belmondo in Japanese films. It’s a good choice given Belmondo’s roles and Lupin’s inspirations (sixties spy and crime films), but Yamada’s voice also eased the
