I think that’s the sensation Hummer (RIP) was going for a decade ago, but fortunately you’re in a Toyota now so nobody’s going to point and laugh while you ride by.

If I could have done it all over again in 2010, I would have bought a 4Runner instead of our Wrangler. Their reliability is no joke, just like the Wrangler the resale value is insane, but it is a much more practical vehicle and can be just as capable.

I really like the 4 Runner, especially in Cement or Quicksand but boy are they EX.PEN.SIVE. New, Used, Salvage title it doesn’t matter

I agree, otherwise he would have known to accelerate more once the tank slapper started. Just crack the throttle. More acceleration = more stability which will cause the front wheel to balance out.

I used to get into a mild tankslapper coming out of turn 3 at Brainerd hard in third gear. Got a steering dampner and set it on 1.
