I just wish they’d make the WRX STi small again. It’s gotten huge...a smaller car would be a much better use of weight reduction.

FAA requires triple redundancy for critical systems. The nice thing is, aircraft already fly by themselves. With autoland functions becoming the norm, really all a pilot ever has to do is taxi and set the autothrottles for takeoff. The rest of the flight, the pilot doesn’t have to touch a thing. Most crashes in the

As someone who works for DoD...it will be unmanned and way more lame.

Motorcycles accelerate much faster than 99% cars, especially built race bikes. When I’ve driven cars and bikes around the same track, I’m always surprised at how much slower the cars feel and accelerate to the next corner. Sure cars carry more corner speed, but there’s tends to be lot less braking prior to a slower

Why not just a motorcycle? It does everything the smart car does but is more fun. A bike with hard bags will have the same amount of storage. Heck, for 18k you can get a BMW GS with all the farkles.

Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish is one of the greatest detailing sprays ever made. I use that stuff for everything but paint and glass!

I mean, 4Runners are pretty sweet and I have owned a few...but that’s all I would even consider in current the Toyota lineup.

US 129 is not a road to mess with. I have ridden it on all kinds of motorcycles over the years. It’s a great road but mistakes are costly and conditions are always different. Plus, crossing the centerline on that road is inexcusable and a great way to kill someone.

Small cars fit *most peoples needs. Though my hobbies tend to demand larger vehicles. I have a boat to tow, track bikes to haul, friends to take camping up forest service roads, a vehicle I can put an air mattress in the back and sleep in, mountains to go snowboarding on (and you only want to go when the roads are

I think times are changing a little. I could own a car for commuting but I have motorcycles for that. A car just doesn’t cut it for a lot of people. I need something I can fit 4 people and camping/ski gear in and then get up the mountain/fire roads to get to the trails. I need something that can tow a boat, race bike,

My VFR was my first bike. It’s not as fast or nimble as my CBR and doesn’t wheelie like my Tuono, but when I don’t know what to ride I always pick the VFR over the other two.

What I imagine when I hear it’s a KARRAR MATEY!

I live in the PNW. If people slowed down any more, I’d just stay parked in my driveway all day. All I want is for people to go the speed limit. Not 10 under, 15 under....just the speed limit.

Pretty much the automotive equivalent to trail braking a motorcycle. The benefits are real but getting it right is not easy and getting it wrong has nasty consequences. Plus...I don’t know about the automotive world, but trail braking in the moto world is a highly discussed and misunderstood technique.

There’s another reason for holding off on both....2018 is supposed to be a redesign year for the 4Runner and Wrangler. Real world competition wise for both, what else is there available in the US? Wrangler has no competition and the 4Runner doesn’t really either. The Xterra is gone and really only premium options are

True, though I think Fixate in the article is used differently than Fixate is used in the motorcycle world. In the article he is ‘fixating’ on where he wants to go which translates straight to bikes (though that point is rarely fixed on a bike). Only reason to fixate on solid objects when riding motorcycle are for

I was able to get my ‘97 Explorer on two wheels making a left from a stop. Didn’t realize how quickly traffic was coming to my left. Also, as a explination....I was 16 at the time.

Hey, I had a ‘97 Explorer that took me a problem free 267k miles. Sold it for $1500 in 2013.

I was 11. My friend let me ride his Honda XR80, which has approximately 4.5 hp. I let out the clutch, gave it some gas, it got rolling faster than I was prepared for and my feet slipped off the foot pegs. After which I promptly rode it straight into a large wooden fence. 4.5 hp!

My family had a ‘92 that my parents bought new. Two transmissions and 20k miles later they were done with it. Got an ‘87 Caddy that ran like a top.
