they just want someone to blame and Trump if their likely target.

Mary Barra? Yeah, Jalopnik has been covering this all day. It’s a big deal. This story was a story about a Canadian plant. Bringing up Trump with a change by GM that has more to do with EVs and Crossovers than with Trump and tariffs makes you look like a hack.
Glad to hear, actually - I like your attitude. The pendulum swings every Presidency - we went from a good-figurehead Obama (not very effective) to a dolt Trump (who gets shit done), and we’ll swing back again. It may be cliche, but I think the media stokes the hell out of the bashing, and they’re not helping things at…
Probably safe to say you don’t want to buy any GM products built at these plants after today, right?
Like bail them out in 08 then offload the shares they took in the deal at a huge loss? And continue provides massive tax incentives?
I know that this Dias guy does not work in the factory, and hasn’t for decades. I *assume* he is making SUBSTANTIALLY more than any union worker in that factory. Further, I *estimate* that he will be no where close to losing his job after this plant closes, unlike some of those workers who just lost their job.
Note to self, do not buy any car made at this plant. Those dudes definitely are not going to be giving a fuck about quality control.
Can someone who knows about unions and corporate America and how this works explain this to me please? I do not understand how if a business no longer sees a plant as profitable and no longer needs the manufacturing is still be responsible at keeping it open at a loss? What am I missing here?
You know this is a story about a Canadian plant right?
This sucks for them, don’t get me wrong, but hell of a fight to what? Get people to buy Buick Regals?
Am I the only one that feels like the Jimny looks like they found a warehouse of Samuraii and rebodied them? It's neat looking but it feels like people are reacting as if there were only Ronin. That doesn't work, I know.
“But the CrossTrek is so slow with a garbage interior!”
Show me the Carfax
This is a prime example of early mussel car.
Additional reports say the owner was transporting his 1927 Chevrolet to Titan Motorsports for some modifications when the boat sank.
Impressive barnacle find.
Yes, Routh has a naturally more compassionate, emotionally vulnerable persona that gives his Superman more heart. Plus he’s an actual mid-westerner, so he understands the substance under earnestness and moral clarity of the character.
Brandon Routh was perfect. He just IS Superman. He gets that earnest almost sweetness that Cavill just can’t manage.
I love Taron Egerton and Mendelhson but that new Robin Hood just looks dismal. I’ll take an American Accented / Bryan adams soundtracked Robin Hood over the new one.
