What he was looking for was “They Came before Columbus” by Ivan Van Sertima. A well-thought, thoroughly researched book that documents the travel of Africans to what would become America (and other continents) prior to European understanding that the world was not flat. Or just in the cold ass caves that they

You live in a remorseless, unapologetic oligarchy where there is a big club and you’re not in it. Got it?

Dude looks like the older version of a Rugrats character.

How would you define the US culture?

Before we leap to condemn him here we have to remember that Griezmann is French and therefore was raised in a different culture. A cowardly, racist culture.

I reeeeeaaaalllly hope it’s with men. I mean, we’re all not lucky enough for that, but it would be nice.

Attitudes like yours are exactly why Democrats lose elections. No, the two parties are not even remotely comparable in their badness, but people like you like to pretend otherwise for some fucking reason, because hey, complaining about not having a perfect option makes you feel better than choosing the best available

There are a group of NFL teams I actively cheer against precisely because of their stupidity re Kaepernick. The following teams would be legitimate playoff threats with him at QB instead of the abysmal warmed over corpses they insist on trotting out:

1) Houston
2) Miami
3) Baltimore

Usually, we roll with it and that’s fine. For instance, I don’t have a problem giving my guy at the bodega a buck for a soda even

Three cheers for toxic fanbases and the inability to be happy with anything. More than any flaws in the game, that’s what killed Mass Effect.

Like Richard Pryor once said about foreign people trying to pronounce the ‘N’ word, “They’ll know they got it right when they get their ass kicked.”

I played Eternal Darkness with both my brother, and my wife watching the whole time. Absolutely incredible game. My favorite memory of it was probably when the game asked me, “are you sure you you want to delete your save files?” to which I replied something like “wha.. uh... no. No, right guys? Do I want to... what?

Dang it. Now I’m triggered that we never got Eternal Darkness 2. I would die a happy man if we got a sequel finally, or even a solid remake of Eternal Darkness 1.

Great article. I loved this game SO MUCH. I keep hoping Retro Studios next project is a sequel.
