We do need some airlines to get around, but there’s no doubt that American Airlines and United should fail and disappear. The surviving airlines can make it a daily habit to manage their businesses properly, and value their customers. The price gouging and indifference to the travel experience should bite the worst

Not true, Obama-care is still in place. I have a friend who hasn’t had any insurance for years, he’s had three surgeries under Obama-care and it cost him nothing.

We own a Cayman, Tacoma, ND Miata, and... a Kuboda backhoe (on tracks) with a six position front blade.

I’ve worked from home for 20 years, I wouldn’t work in an office again. There are days where I work a lot of hours because there’s lots to take care of, other days not so much. Everything is measured, you either get the job done or you don’t => how you accomplish that is up to you.

$2.79 for regular at Costco in Seattle area today. Washingtonians get screwed almost as much as Californians.

You are an excellent candidate for a good old fashioned blood letting, but we’re not monsters, we’ll leave a couple of quarts in you so you don’t kick the bucket.

And I don’t care how ignorant you are, call it a day.

Racist? Hardly. Realist? 100% This isn’t the first pandemic that had it’s roots in China and they need to enforce hygiene standards in their country or this will keep happening. Clearly they need to be held accountable, hit ‘em in the wallet. Incidentally, I’ve been to China 23 times, fair bit of first hand knowledge.

Trust me, you don’t. Also, since the virus is not well understood there’s also the possibility of contracting it more than once. All this because the fucking Chinese gotta eat bats. WHO should hand them an invoice for $50 trillion, maybe then they’d start eating food meant for humans.

I like that show, they all rock overalls

There’s a lot of things about tech that can super annoying (e.g. every meeting has at least one smartest-guy-in-the-room) however, tech leads the way in changing how people work. I haven’t worn a suit in 25 years, shaving is optional, and I generally pick & choose the hours I work. Sometimes I work 16 hour days,

I’ve worked from home for 20 years, however I do work in sales and have to meet with customers at their offices regularly. Working in tech has its perks. I usually get together with my team for lunch twice a month, my boss is in Irvine so I see him once a quarter (maybe).

Neutral: get baked.

Unions, gambling, hookers, blow, and politics always attract the best of the human race.

I guess you missed this: I tried it for 48 years, I’m well aware of how it works. I lived in Montreal, my kids are still living there. My daughter is a nurse.

Today’s headline would literally be: WILL IRAQ BOMB MASSACHUSETTS NOW?

I tried it for 48 years, I’m well aware of how it works. Ten years ago I got sick of paying 75% of my income in taxes and moved to the U.S. I make twice as much, and pay half the taxes. I’m not rich but my company does offer a great benefits package, and the healthcare system here is 10 times better than Canada’s.

Because Canada taxes the fuck out of everything. It’s the one thing holding the country back from being a powerhouse.

I’ve worked from home for 20 years, it requires discipline and focus but I wouldn’t trade it for working in an office again. In fact, I’ve turned down jobs that require going to an office daily. I also work in sales and visit customers all the time, however, I restrict meeting times to 11:00am to 3:00pm to avoid the

Any other color would likely cost at least $5k more :) Fuck me that’s an ugly car
