On my Cayman there’s an electrically controlled release switch to open the frunk, it’s on the interior scuff plate beside the driver’s seat. Once you “open” the frunk with the switch you still have to reach under the lip of the hood and slide a horizontal release.

Me too, done that way too many times. In this case one of the things I liked about the car was the Sync 3 headunit, it does a lot of things surprisingly well.

It’s not all bad, fool with the EQ some and dial it in.

I’ve designed and installed many car audio systems over the years, I know the challenges. Just bought a 2016 Focus with a ten speaker set up, Sony system, not half bad. If I keep the car for a while I’ll probably end up with Focal’s.
