Let me know when you break down in Iowa, I will come out to mock you be the roadside. If you are very lucky I might bring tools.

TL:DR this truck is fuggly and the bed is too small to be a real truck. CP

A big part of why IRL was created was to try and reign in Penske. At the time, Panske controlled a huge stake in CART and there were complaints of favoritism. More then 70% of the CART teams were running Penske suspension components and some teams accused them of keeping the best for themselves and selling inferior

questionable dealer” is kind of redundant, don’t you think?

Seems like a weird solution to a problem that is not fully explained here. I would think that the power/weight on this thing is not as good as a single 10hp motor. It has two flywheels, two carbs, two gas tanks, etc. And the split axle, while unique seems like a recipie for disaster. What will happen if one of those

Reluctant CP:

I can’t tell you how often I have had to listen to some stupid game or, even worse, Baby Shark! coming form some kid’s tablet. After 20 minutes of that ANYONE would be ready to go full air rage.

Not seeing that.  Looks like most of the SL500's worth having are going for more than 10k.  And those have 130k + miles.  At least you can still get cheap parts for the Vette.  The Merc will eat you alive in repair costs.

I see where they were going with this. I saw something similar years ago and thought it was a good idea.

Does it have a heater? IIRC the e-Up!used electroresitive heating that basically killed the range if used. Anyone know if they have moved on to a more modern system?

If it’s stupid, but it works, then it’s not stupid.

Buy it.  You will never have more fun for less money.

You know the profit margin (for the station) on fuel that you pump through that device is only about 5-10 cents per gallon right? If they make this stuff any more expensive a lot of the independent stations are going to disappear.  I really don’t want that to happen.  It is the ONLY place around these part where I can

Does this even matter? I assume all the placed that have “drive thru” service now will go to some sort of app-based system where you do whatever needs doing (ordering, banking, etc) on your phone then park in a regular parking spot. The staff (or robtic equivalent there of) will come out to you your car to

About 1995 ish I was driving home from a friends place about midnight. Another friend was with me in my 1986 Trans AM. We were carving up US 231 a two lane highway in rural Indiana. Not speeding, but doing every bit of the double nickle. Coming around a corner, in a wooded section of the area, I spotted a huge deer

An interesting change. IndyCar has always limited tech to make the series more of a drivers race. No ABS, no traction control, nothing that constitutes a driver assist. This has also helped keep the cost of the cars well below that of F1. But that philosophy has been changing. The switch to paddle sifters, addition of

Brilliant!  I have a ‘76 Spitfire with the factory hard top.  I love the hard top for the spring and fall, but it is almost impossible for a big guy to get in and out of the car gracefully with it installed.  This would make it so much easier.
