Very true, ha. I was thinking the same thing.

That doesn't really show the magnitude of the smackdown Nvidia has laid on AMD. It's just stunning. Given GPU Boost, I think HardOCP's testing methods are much more useful due to their more organic nature, as opposed to simply running benchmarks.

The developer's future looks great- they just cashed out to the tune of $500k per employee. :)

iOS and Android have a lot of users to burn through. They can probably make money for a while, especially with Zynga now willing to mine it for more "sequels" and such.

How hard is it to get a mechanic to fix a couple of crappers when there is so much liability at stake? Seems like even in Alaska you could figure something out within 2 full days......

Actually the missed grammar and punctuation are a bit alarming for an attorney. He must have underlings to do all the writing in his firm.

"But Apple, long overdue, is now beaming movies at the highest possible HD quality: 1080p."

I agree, I was just citing a more current data point that is also better suited to the task of valuation than revenue from 5 years ago.

Though you can't deny the strangeness of a non-straight 6 cylinder in a BMW. It just seems wrong to me.

Agreed. I'm not sure what else they would do with this cash that wouldn't have set the acquisition rumor mill on fire a while ago..... they could buy Sprint or something though, and have $75B leftover.

Their current enterprise value, which is more accurate than revenue for a potential sale price, is $265B apparently.

Competition, over time, will virtually always erode a market leader unless that leader also institutes anti-competitive tactics to prevent the competition from entering the market (which, you could argue, Apple is doing- but I don't want to go into that here). As an example, look at the size of the chunk Amazon has

The part that gets me is "how we compute."

Ghandi is insane. Always has been. I'm always careful of him when he's my neighbor- I either strike first, or have my army ready to defend and then put on a strong counter-assault. I don't stop until he's either gone or I have most of his cities.

"They did so by harnessing waste heat"

Yo, check out this ipad I just picked up!

Here's a question: if you get this 2048x1536 display on the ipad, what kind of GPU are they going to use? Because that will be a TON of pixels. 4x as many, to be exact. That will be murder on the current GPU when it comes to rendering 3D scenes, like with Unreal Engine 3, and even with a new, more powerful GPU- what

The AN-94 is a bitch to mass produce, and is apparently expensive as hell as a result. Mostly because it has some stupidly advanced features that nothing else around does.

Too bad the AN-94 is basically the most complex and expensive gun to build in history. It has some cool features, just sounds like a bitch to maintain and mass produce.

Well you're no fun, Mr. Logical!
