I'm just waiting for her to get a superhero franchise. Captain Marvel?

To her credit, it was more of a "geeeeezus, not again" kind of look.

That was basically Sansa's series arc in a nutshell.

Five-way…don't forget Wendigo!

To say nothing of the fact that Jack may have eaten the sum total of a whole person by the point.

But I don't have the right parts for her proclivities.

I had forgotten that the mutineers were even a thing in the book, and that Coldhands killed them. My position on this storyline has changed considerably, and I now consider it "a crafty melding!"

Actually, I respected that moment a lot, because Ward's genuine affection made Skye realize that him genuinely caring made it EVEN WORSE.

Nah, they're being too cavalier with his body count now. He might get redeemed, but it will involve death or exile.

Bob, Agent of HYDRA!

Poor Eddie…those are going to be some terrible games of catch he'll have growing up.

This is the best thing on the internet today.

Just someone who gives a female character enough agency to care or not care about a sexual assault from a particular person without needing it to be a lamplight for all of society to confront an issue in a certain way in every depiction.

And disproves any feelings of general significance that we thought Coldhands might have. Ah man…

There WAS sword-distribution in this episode, y'know…coincidence? Or MORE?

This is the AVClub; shouldn't that have been written "Blocker…

I have a feeling Coldhands will be saddled (teehee) under quite a bit of Walker makeup, so they'll be able to keep the Benjen tease alive. Though I do feel more and more that the books are telling us, "nope, different guy, older guy, seriously why do you think it's Benjen oh right" turf.

Easter egg alert: who else noticed the straw men being carried around in the background at the Wall?

The most obvious read of the Jaime/Cersei scene, and probably the least dramatic and most likely to be ignored by the internet, is that rape or not, Cersei is basically non-plussed by it. Like she got force-fed an extra spoonful of an ice cream flavor she used to like but now is kind of "meh" on.

That, or not even bat an eye because it's another in a myriad of TV deaths we don't pay attention to because our confirmation bias isn't activated.
