What was wrong with Insurrection?

Talked to one cop guarding a grocery store I worked at. He said the same thing-cops don’t make enough so they have to take these side jobs to make ends meet.

I can never make up my mind whether he was guilty. It seems like every special adds something new. Supposedly the dome light was removed from the Bronco, so that it wouldn’t turn on when the door was opened. Don’t know if that’s actually true or not.

If I were the Browns I would skip at taking a QB with the 1 or 4 pick.

How many of the best picture nominees did you see? How would you rank them from best to worst?

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this.

Does anyone know how the shooter got into the school in Parkland? It seems like he walked through an unlocked door. All my kids schools are locked up tight during the day.

I was going to skip this show but Adam Strange is awesome.

I used to love this character. Marvel spent a long time developing her it the Avengers that by the time she joined she was gone. I always felt there was more going on behind the scenes.

So I’m assuming they are going away from the comic book origin.

Most Academy voters don’t watch every film.

I didn’t find it confusing, but I do think it’s nothing more than the basic plot of many sci-fi stories (group of scientists trapped somewhere and are taken out one by one until only the main hero survives). Hell, if you re-edit the last shot you can turn it into a Godzilla or King Kong movie.

I actually thought they did a poor job with Snoke. I got this Hugh Hefner vibe off him which was distracting. His neck looked as if it had a tracia at some point. He looked so weak and feeble I couldn’t reconcile him as someone who was running the First Order. 

I think DC is just making bad decisions. Many of their casting choices are baffling. Jason Moara doesn’t work as Aquaman. Eisenburg as Luthor? Will Smith as Deadshot? I don’t know. Marvel just seems to do a better job with casting for some reason.

I like the story in which her costume is originally a halloween costume. Gypsy Moth attacks the party and Babs stops him.

I really loved the show back in the day (well the last season sucked). Rather than a reboot I’d rather have a continuation of the storylines from the original show. Zan has to be an adult by now. Build it around him.

I feel like JJ is fishing. I agree with all those comments, but Luke was the biggest disappointment in the film, and he’s a guy. And Yoda. The movies have been so bad I don’t think they’re worth seeing in the theaters anymore.

Judges really depend on the votes of law enforcement. Most other groups don’t really know or care about judges in the election the way cops do. So of course if a judge ruled against a cop on trial they would be voted out of office on the next election. Police shootings should have to have a jury trial.

Icon is a really great comic. I know it was from the 90s but many of the issues in that comic are sadly still relevant. Plus it’s also a great superhero story.

The highlight of the film was the Greek gods, Amazons, Atlanteans, humans and an alien GL fighting Steppenwolf. That could have been a movie in and of itself.
