Can we please end Ethanol in regular fuel? Maybe have 87, 89, 91, 93, ethanonl free, and then E85 if anyone wants it.

I’m overwhelmingly in favor of states rights in almost all areas. But in this case I think legislation should be at the Federal level. It would be counterproductive to have 40 or 50 councils doing their own studies and having their own findings/rules which each manufacturer needs to comply or answer to. When it comes…
lets not pretend hypocrisy is a partisain core principle
Two out of three ain’t bad. Jobs was one of the biggest assholes ever. There is a reason he was fired from his own company. There is also a reason he was hired back, because he also happened to be a visionary when it came to creating shit people would want to buy, but that doesn’t excuse the asshole part.
How many did they make? What are the chances someone can purchase the no-longer-needed shell?
Telephoto lens+cars changing lanes+snapshot=a picture with almost zero value in explaining what you think you’re explaining.
The MPG ratings are a red herring anyway. The way the regulations are written allows for so many loopholes, and the way “traffic calming” measures have been implemented means that even with all the new efficiency available to consumers, fuel consumption per vehicle mile remains essentially flat.
It’s time to have the EPA break private personal vehicles out of the transportation bucket in their emissions data so we can stop the war on cars and focus on more productive, lower cost ways to reduce emissions.
I am totally for these emission standards, however a handful of states forcing the whole country to conform is not really a right of the states.
Yay states’ rights!
Stupid never sleeps.
Will passing be added to F1? That would help make it more interesting to Americans.
Neutral: What’s your best idea to solve that problem?
where have you been the last 8 years? all of these global agreements and initiatives as much as they sound great they chip away at our freedom.
What he’s referring to is the reclassification of CO2 from “normal byproduct of complete combustion” to the same pollution standards as nitrogen oxides, and harmful hydrocarbons.
This is not a debate on if its a greenhouse gas or not, but rather its the lunatics-running-the-asylum scenario that is vilifying it as…
Yep. They make stupid packages - like not offering Xenon headlights on all trim levels.
The CH-R. A small crossover that looks cool and sporty, it was even turned into a racecar before it went into production. Then the world discovered it would be available as ridiculously underpowered in 2WD, impossible to get in 4WD with a manual, or with a bit more power but still a stupid CVT in Hybrid.
I’ve driven several versions of this diesel & ZF 8HP and it’s just a slick combination. Still kinda fun, too.
You can buy a 328D wagon tho
