“I’ll never buy one, but....” This is all that needs to be said. Remember, the Edsel had supporters, too. But they didn’t have to buy it.

Because Kinja: Diesel - $3.69, V-Power $3.35, Plus $3.25, regular $3.15

FFS, can’t upload portrait? Anywho, welcome to california’s recession-inducing new fuel pricing, comrades:

That’s silly; of course not. We’ve been taught to fear Communism, specifically the CCCP version that has nuclear weapons and a big military footprint. Socialism usually just eats itself e.g. Venezuela until everyone is destitute.

*snork*. just needs the tiara!

FWD jellybean wagon? the one wagon I’m glad we can’t get in Murca.

ie “the Cockroach”.

Still scary, begged the wife to take 1 north instead when driving home at night after she got that flat. I’m always surprised more tractor trailers don’t go flying off into space on the downhills...

I had a very similar experience at age 12, driving my dad’s ‘62 GMC truck backwards and forwards up and down my grandma’s driveway for about an hour. Nothing broke or caught fire,--very boring, as it should be for a snot-nosed kid desperate to drive. Of course, my driving ability and cautious nature was not rewarded

It’s hard for me to figure out what exactly Lexus wants this car to be.

When you say “noone”, you mean only thousands of people want a stick, not tens of thousands want a stick. There used to be a stick option that was less expensive, and maybe that was a driving factor as well in banishing the manual transmission. Note to Muricans: if you can’t drive a stick here, you’ll never manage to

re: 3). I don’t know how you do this and avoid speeding all the time. I see it done reasonably, but as a non-rider I don’t think I could avoid going fast on a bike, all the time, everywhere, even if it’s only relative to the existing traffic.

Prius driver are so busy saving the planet they can’t be bothered to use their indicators....or mirrors. I’ve seen idiot bikers tear off ears for less oblivious driving, but this biker did nothing wrong as long as lane-splitting is legal.

Yeah, their xDrive is a very hard ride, especially when paired with run-flats. My parent’s mid-2000 3 series and 5 series are much better sorted out.

That might have been the case in Japan back in the day, but there are plenty of slow track/part time positions where Japan Inc used to hire full time at full scale.

UK same--difficult to drive/park very wide american models in their narrow streets.

This is exacerbated by the fact that you can get 3 or 4 different engines, a stick with many/most models, and way more models of euro vehicles vs the American competition. Compare VW UK to Ford UK sites to see the differences.
