“I think it’s important to stay focused on the money and not on the message,” Austin Lane, president of Texas Southern University, told Politico. “We’re here to find out, most importantly, if there’s money to access, where is it and how do we get it.”

I suppose someone could say that he’s been the best at getting people to realize all the civil liberties that can be lost if folks don’t vote Republicans out of office in 2020?

Between a rock and and orange place.

I get that they have to work with whoever is in office, but damn, who thought it would be a good idea to have this pussy-ass bitch address a HBCU conference?

Most conservatives in the media simultaneously loathe Hollywood and are desperate for its attention.

I used to really hate her but That Nazi Bitch Laura Ingraham™️ has taken her spot.

More than anything, Coulter craves celebrity and the trappings and access that affords. It is schadenfreude incarnate to see her desires thwarted.

A few weeks ago Comedy Central replayed the roast of Rob Lowe. Like half the show was everyone just dunking on Coulter. They all clearly hated her and didn’t want her there.

“I couldn’t give a flying flamingo what your view is!”

I don’t know if Bercow is a good guy or a villain, but I love the way he shouts “Aw-dah!”

I don’t want to minimize how significant LBJ was (i.e., Medicare, the Great Society, Civil Rights Act), but Vietnam hangs over that presidency in a way that nothing from the Obama presidency comes close to.

I was going to post basically this. He had a lot of problems, but I was born in ‘82 and he’s easily the best President in my lifetime. I think you’d have to go back to LBJ to find better.

And yet Biden seems intent on running with those exact same strategies (with the only difference being that, I guess, he will occasionally threaten to give Trump a wedgie) and for some reason expect to win. It is insane!”

I agree with this, plus, it’s always fun to deflate a conservative who thinks they’ve “Gotcha” because President Obama (kind of but not really) also “did that thing” that we hate Trump for.

All the above article says is that there are meritorious criticisms of Barack Obama to be made. That’s true.

Except it totally would. Not a whole lot of realism on this website.

Even from a purely cynical perspective, if embracing Obama were enough to win a presidential election, and rejecting Obama were guaranteed to lose it, then we wouldn’t even be talking about Democratic primary debates.

Yeah, it would. The GOP *still* do it. Why fucking pile on?

Every president is worthy of some amount of criticism. Some a magnitude or two more than others. Obama certainly had his fair share of liabilities in his two terms that are accurately referred to above.
