I forgot about that. Too bad he got whacked by his own people (in the movie).

Sweet. Did you ever beat him?

In the early ‘80's NBC put together an extremely bad television miniseries about an invasion of Alaska by Soviet forces. The whole thing ends in a nuclear exchange after some Alaska National Guard troops get in the way of the Russians. It starred such paragons of the ‘80's as Cathy Lee Crosby and David Soul, with Rock

Gimme the TR-7. Or maybe the T-Bird. Interesting that Jeff Gordon ordered a brand new Ford. I wonder if that caused the guys at Chevy some heartburn, or he had to drive it with a disguise on.

Me too. Well played.

Full Disclosure: I am a TCU fan and we play Ohio State this year at JerryWorld.

All of my cars except one (including my current Ranger) have had standards. I love them and taught my wife to drive on one in the parking lot at the old Texas Stadium in Irving. Which is where the Dallas Cowboys played when they still knew how to win.

When I was four, my babysitters had a chicken coop. I won’t get into the gory details (although it was cool) but I watched them do a mass processing one day. I think the slaughtered and froze something like 15 chickens. I learned a valuable lesson.

I know you are going to get a lot of replies on what else should be on this list. I just bought a couple of 1/4 sheet pans. Like a sheet pan but only 1/4 of the size. Since both our offspring are in college it really comes in handy when my wife and I are cooking for ourselves. Doesn’t take up as much oven or storage

As a parent who has gone through this, I doubt this is really just about dietary quality. Parents who go and eat with their child are one thing, but parents who just drive by and drop something off (leaving the front office staff to deal with getting the food to little Suzy) are another thing. If that food gets lost

What’s weird for me is watching Chase Elliott race. His dad was the first NASCAR driver I really rooted for. Same with Ryan Blaney.

I had a friend in college who had a mauve Member’s Only jacket. The problem was that he was color blind, so he didn’t realize it was mauve when he bought it. It was fine. It was the late 80's, mauve was cool.

Really, you’re going Black Ops in that thing? Because that won’t get out to the bad guys.

I had a 2006 Mazda3 (non-turbo) for over 100,000 miles. I was in a wreck and totaled it, and that price is almost exactly what the insurance company gave me. Loved the car, that price seems right, NP all the way to the bank.

We just bought a Mazda CX-5 and I have to admit it’s pretty awesome. Maybe just a little underpowered, but I would say that about an NHRA Funny Car. Otherwise, it’s sweet.

We were just in Santa Fe, NM last week and man, those dudes have some BIG crows. Much larger than the scrawny ones we have here in Texas.

I had a buddy in high school whose parents bought one of these, slightly older model. The biggest thing about it was that it talked. It would tell you the door was ajar or the lights were on. That’s when we thought talking cars would be a good thing.

Except I am watching this game right now. Rangers 11, Seattle 4, top of the 9th.

Yes, louvers do rule. I think they went away when the JC Penney’s catalog quit being a thing.

I live in the DFW area and this has been a huge fiasco. It’s at the worst in Dallas itself but those of us in the ‘burbs get hit also. What has always surprised me is how many of the bikes being left are seriously damaged. I have ridden for many years and never seen wheels bent in the way I have seen some of these
