A) You didn’t work with me! If you did, you wouldn’t be so bitter against AM’s!
A) You didn’t work with me! If you did, you wouldn’t be so bitter against AM’s!
I spent 5 years as an Area Manager for Amazon. I loved the job. My family, on the other hand, not so much. Everything they say about work/life balance and excessive workload is true. It is not the job for everyone, especially if you have a family, pets or hobbies. Perfect if your single and desperate for a job. …
Have camper ON turn 5. Can’t get much closer without a fire suit!
As much as I hate to say this, NASCAR hit the nail on the head by wanting every race to be, as I repeatedly heard on their SiriusXM channel, a game 7 moment. What we got was “The Chase”! Let’s not contrive the event by making it something it can’t always be. The Super Bowl is special because there is only 1 each…
It’s called management, folks. If people are not doing what they were brought on to do, regardless of their status as an employee or volunteer, that’s on the manager. It sounds to me that Mr. Solberg has surrendered his management responsibility by blaming the people. These people who are”showing up to collect a…
Thank you for this and the other Group C memories! As a child of the 80's who loves sports cars, I love looking back at these cars and the racing we had.
I love that car! I saw it win Daytona on my first visit to that race!
It looks awesome, but man, I hope it works better for them than the ARX-04b they raced at Daytona in 2015 and dropped like a dead cat right after the race. They had very little development, getting the car about a month before the race. Oh, like about now. Last years car had a lot more development prior to their win!
My car is my refuge and my 1/2 hour commute down US1 is where I prepare for work or decompress from it! I don’t like the morning shows, news is depressing and have taken to podcasts like “Dinner with Racers” and Marshall Pruetts. I haven’t gotten to Matt Hardigree’ DwR yet, though....
The head of that nail just got pounded! F1 needs a personality, any personality! Jordan is the leader of the racing’s (B)Rat Pack, along with Andy Lilly, Ryan Eversley and John Potter! OMG, they would make F1 popular again in this ‘burb called ‘MERICA!
You just saw The White Rabbit Project, didn’t you?
The gods must hate Russia. The pounding from space hammers continues....
It is an absolute must see event! Just know that infield parking is already sold out. Parking will be across the street. Also, Daytona International Speedway is simply ginormous! You will walk a lot! As in miles. You will also see a lot! Some bits you may wish you hadn’t. But it is all really worth doing!
I, too, can’t wait! We’ll be at the Roar to start our racing season with a picnic for the family and the kids playing soccer in the infield! There is nothing like having a few beverage, enjoying the weather and watching the cars go round!
Motorsport.com has great F1 coverage. Racer.com is also good and covers all racing too. Auto sport would be good but you have to pay for the good stuff. I’m into sports cars and sportscar365.com is my favorite. Jalopnik, though, is my favorite for all things with an engine!!!
I live about 5 miles from the track. No, not a lot of publicity at all. It is on the DIS website and there were a number of small (very small) ads in the News-Journal. I’ve read about it online and saw the Ferrari Club was trying to get 1,000 cars on the track. There were A LOT of people there, but it still could…
I was surprised by how many cars at the track had no plates! The transporter drops them off at the gate and they spend the day driving the mile and a half of infield road.....
And a Porsche Carrera?..
Especially at night!!
I never thought the Germans would take the hit for the French, but now LeMans is no longer in conflict with F1! Danke!
