As a tall person, I sew a thread across the back of the tie a few inches above the tie gather so it can stay tucked into something. That Scotch tape looks ridiculous.

Keep underestimating your opponent.

soon-to-be President Trump’s relationship with the media will certainly bear watching. But, since he has not one but two newspaper men in his inner circle (Bannon, Kushner) somehow I don’t think he will do anything untoward in that arena. Contentious, Yes; muzzling free press, No.

Perhaps not paying so much attention to skin color will help Democrats gain even with Whites.

It seems like you’re the one peddling hate. Criticism of things like Black Lives Matter (on right-leaning websites) are usually accompanied with some evidence points like videos of protesters chanting: “What do we want? Dead Cops. When do we want them? Now.” Or, various times BLM protesters have rushed the stage

I miss George H.W. Bush. Wait, what am I saying, too?

Demographics is destiny might have a hitch: Without a non-white candidate the Democrats’ advantage appears to evaporate a bit. Trump did better than Romney among every major minority: Black, Hispanic and Asian. Are 29% of Hispanics racist against...themselves?

At least three women know their place: Cabinet appointees.

Unlike making public colleges free for everyone, which was so gonna happen (sarcasm).

The Sec of Defense pick seems like anything but a man who has no clue about what war means. He’s a 44 year veteran, General.

Haven’t we been at war for 15 years?

Thank you for the link. I read the article and am a little troubled by it. I would be moreso if it weren’t for the fact that it is a third-hand account of something Bannon is supposed to have said 12 years ago. Not exactly iron-clad evidence. Either way, land ownership requirements for voting will NEVER happen in

I am from the US. I believe I used a driver’s license each time I registered to vote (two different states), so I honestly don’t know the specifics about obtaining a voter ID.

I’m pretty sure though (couldn’t find it stated; anyone help if you can) that a voter ID has to be offered free of charge or it would represent a poll tax.

Gotta give a rec for the excellent use of photoshop.

Can you link to where photo ID’s cost money. That sounds fishy.

Regardless of what voting apparatus is used people are going to suspect fraud. Michigan uses all paper ballots, people think fraud. Wisconsin uses a mix of paper and voting machines, people think fraud...

I’m reading about provisional ballots tonight myself. Looks like they’re filled out by those who don’t have the proper ID but still want to vote. Depending on the state, the voter has to return to the election board with proper ID within a certain amount of time; i.e. they are not just thrown out.

Like that Robin Williams movie, Man of the Year.
