An LS swap is boring, but an LS is generally objectively better than just about anything it is replacing. A sad truth.

You can’t overhaul any automatic for 300 bucks. Also, I’m pretty sure the Nissan CVT can’t be replaced with a junkyard unit, even by Nissan. 

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. It seems abundantly clear that he’s driving the Echo cause the car they owe 10k on has a bad CVT, so he’s not driving that one. I don’t think they owe 10k on the Echo.

Literally no one I know pulls their airbag fuse. I don’t think it’s a good idea at all unless I guess you are expecting heavy body damage in which case you’ve probably taken the bag out or it never had them.

I fully understand what your saying but GM found it too difficult to run their off road variant up a mildly bumpy hill at low speed?  This can be easily reproduced, and has been.  It has been with many of their models in different conditions.

Its a good policy, but it doesn’t cover high range 4wd scenarios.  Like, for example, dune driving.
