They are not good investments, but they’re still okay investments as durable goods that have little or no depreciation (nominal or real). And that matters because it makes it easy to justify owning them. And that in turn results in a lot more being out in circulation. The threat of banning them drives up demand and…
You were a pacifist, now you’re a gun toting public protecting tough guy? lol.
I think you simply don’t realize the magnitude of badly you’ve already lost. And that’s not being rude. It’s just that if you’re not familiar with the people who are stockpiling them, it’s easy to think that they’re dumb or not well funded. It’s far from it. Guns are a good investment. Probably as good of an inflation…
If following a hit and run driver until the police arrive is “escalation” - yes, absolutely I would escalate it . You would presumably waive good by and hope the wonderful lady has a fine day? (I think that puts you in “shrinking violet” category).
I don’t think starting now would have much or any value. The reason it needed to start in the 1950's was to get ahead of the massive production and distribution that happened between then and now. Guns last nearly indefinitely. So does properly stored ammo. And I can easily and cheaply reload more ammo at will. And a…
You live in fantasy land. Hit me and run away - I guarantee you I’ll follow you until I either run out of gas or you stop. Wherever that takes us.
Don’t bring facts into this argument! The faux outrage doesn't look good when it's based on nonsense.
It would be interesting if it were true.
It’s delusional to think that you won’t be followed to wherever you go after leaving a hit and run. Almost everyone will follow you. If you go home - that’s where it ends. That’s the normal series of events.
The horse left the barn a long time ago in the USA. Guns are ubiquitous. Laws restricting them have almost no utility. They could have worked by now starting in the 1950s. But there’s probably more than one gun per person in the USA. Most of them traded in private transactions.
How many AR15s did Jesus have?
Yep. I don’t want anything to do with ADT, Vivint, etc. Stay the F away from me, my house, and my car. Maybe Ford’s security system could alert me when they are coming down my driveway and set off the alarm?
I want a remote hydraulic suspension that I can drop mid catalytic converter theft - all the way to the ground - really fast. But also must have enough ground clearance at normal ride height that I don’t have to move the speed bump before driving away.
Are we sure that’s one person? Not Kevin George and Aziz Riad? It’s an odd name, 4 names with two as English as they come and two very middle eastern/levant.
It really depends on the facts:
Your response is like a child. I’m guessing you are in fact a child?
The problem with EVs is that they will never be able to have a buckeys. Just to put a little context here: If a buckeys has 100 pumps, that means that they typically can provide a 40,000 miles worth of fuel per minute (assuming a modern sedan, 10gal/minute flow rate (usa std flow), and 100 pumps).
I’m going to let you in on a secret. Trains aren’t passenger cars. Now this may be a shock to you. But it’s true.
Haha. Ever visit dry storage at a yacht harbor? Couldn't be more spot on!
