Agreed. Ford just made the first actual Tesla killer. I’m not a ford guy, but IMO this truck beat the CT to market and is better in every way I can think of based on the CT information we have now. Tesla needs to go back to the drawing board. The CT is DOA as it is currently designed.

    $500 wouldn’t touch a truck setup for towing for a week. Maybe $1500 - $2k.

double post - jalop is struggling today...

I would. They are playing adult games and likely will be charged as adults. And probably spend a few years in adult prisons. I’d say they qualify as men. They sure a hell aren’t children.

You can plan for cold days. Go rent a space heater. You can rent a car for rainy days, just like you can rent a truck for days you need to tow a trailer.

Everyone does this. Why would you have a heater in a house that only gets cold 10 days a year? Why have tires that are good in rain if you only drive in heavy rain 10 days a year? Why have windows that roll down if you only roll them down a few times a year.  You get the idea. No one plans for the average day. Those

I think a PHEV is the answer. It's kinda the only viable option right now.

It’s the rule of the intolerant minority. Average doesn't matter. Average rarely matters in the real world. It's the five or ten longest trips of the year that dictate the minimum requirements.

I like the truck a lot. But the range really is a deal breaker for me. It can’t replace my truck for towing or hauling. And that’s all I use it for. I have another car for daily driver duty. It could be a great daily driver, but I don’t really need another truck. It is perfect for anyone who doesn’t tow very far or go

Yep. About 1/3 of all runners are in a stolen car and another third are drunk or high and most of the rest have either no licence or warrants for arrest or are chased directly from the commission of a crime. They're not traffic stops for speeding.

No. Five grown men in a stolen car breaking into a house to steal another car are not a problem. They're just "kids". They should be free to break into as many houses as they want and steal as many cars as they want. That's what kids do. Participation trophies for everyone. STFU and just leave your keys in your car to

    Never. They’re never guilty.

Reading isn't your strong suit is it?

Hahaha. You think the USA is the only place this happens. Good one!

The infinity was also stolen. 5 men break into occupied home and attempt to steal car. They deserve to be chased down IMO. The alternative is vigilante justice. If the police won't chase them,I sure as shit will. And I won't be as friendly when I catch them.

You’re misrepresenting the studies. Either intentionally or by lying about having read them. They do not generally support no-chase policies. They support balanced policies and recognize that it’s a complex system with great opacity. You are passionately dishonest about it though. So there’s that.

You’re lack of ability to understand or foresee second order effects is embarrassing. But don’t worry - you can keep your edgy street cred by ignoring them! Yay - we hate the police!

I mean - it’s super easy, just like he said. You follow the license plates (of the stolen car they were driving) to where they live. The DMV has magic records that change to make sure that they still know who is driving stolen cars. Didn’t you know that???

It was a student driver CRV. There was also a teacher driver in the passenger seat. He saw how much fun ramming the crashed infinity was and wanted to have a go at it, but his stupid student jumped out to early. So he just rammed the first thing he could find.

If you don’t - the reality is that everyone runs. Lots of case examples. Atlanta reversed within the first week for example. But the biggest issue on here is how many commenters want to pretend it’s black and white, not a balancing of situations and risks.
