Parking a red Porsche convertible on a London street overnight. Ho Humm. Expecting it to be there or intact? There are dum cunts and dum cunts. You might need to be very bright to make lots of money in The City. Bright people aren’t neccessarily very clever.
Over 60 English here. I learned to drive at age 13 on a Massey Fergusson 35 tractor. Three speed manual (dual range) gearbox, no synchro and a hand throttle. I taught myself to double-declutch through the gears, up and down without a crunch. Look Mum: No Hands!
Your new Volvo has passed the pre-delivery inspection. Here are your keys....
Fair enough. I was unaware that the system had reliability issuses. I do remember it being warmly welcomed when it was introduced. As I wrote above, I’m not a 2-stroke fan, but it looks like a neat and clean machine.
I’m not a 2-stroke fan, but this one looks like a clean machine. Alloys, so you can clean the wheels and discs so you can stop. Light and nimble and not much money. NP.
Sorry if I was unclear. We appreciate your sacrifices and do our best to show that by honouring them. Sincerely, thanks.
Absolutely nice price for a Benelli. Be warned! It’s left foot for the rear brake, and an right-side gear change. This kind of stuff can screw your head. I grew up with this, and 40 years later on a Japanese bike I still get wrong from time to time.
Telegraph reporting pilot dead after failing to rendezvous with a tanker after leaving Lakenheath.
I first came across G-Wagens in a previous life, doing fieldwork, solo, in the Atlas Mountains (Morocco) for a geology PhD. My field vehicle was a FIAT 128 3P. I came across a group of well-funded German academics with 3 G-Wagens making a parallel study in my field area.
That looks better from that angle. Thanks.
1952. Wheel at each corner. It still works today :)
165 bhp from a 5 litre engine? The proportions: huge overhangs front and rear. It looks like a fat chick with huge tits and arse in a tight red dress and stilettos.
“Chris Harris drove the hell out of a Porsche 356 at Goodwood Revival”
“Practical cars for practical people”. Yes. My Legacy wagon is coming up for 50,000km and still on original tyres (we do have to switch to snow tyres in winter). AWD because we get 12 metres of snow every winter. No head gasket issues so far (as with all three of my previous Legacys).
The Voxy is much bigger than the xB. 50fridge describes it as “compact”, but in Japan (or Europe) it would rate as full-size people mover. These things come with 3litre-ish V6s and use a lot of fuel, especially when they are monstering you at 130kph on the expressways.
They are as fun to drive as they look. You won’t break any speed or accelleration records but there are discs on all 4 corners, a clickety-clack gearbox and oversteer on demand. Less performance but more comfort than the Triumph.
That Fulvia is super lovely. I loved mine, but it was rotten. The 1300 makes good power for its size, but they are heavy and more mini-GT than sports car. Note, there are no seams visible in the body. The shells were lead wiped before painting, and there are lots of other beautiful details like lights in the door…
Excellant. Thanks.
