I'm guessing air travel inside the US has become as you described post 9/11; as I recall in the late 80s & early 90s when I was around there nothing like this happened in such force.

Why not just build both, & make a decent profit worldwide... you know here in the Middle East alot of the police forces drive American police cars (but with lesser specs), especially in both Jordan & Iraq.

This actually makes me want them to go on & build the "i8"...
