So weird. I had never heard this song before. Then not only is it featured on Traffic Jams but also played on our local public radio music station (89.3 The Current in Minneapolis).

A G-body? You are 100% correct.
I loved these back in the day. Lately, I forget about them, because I don’t see them even in the nice-weather months.
Gorgeous. What front spoiler is that? I don’t recall ever seeing one with a polished insert like that.
Out-STAND-ing.
Came here with a dim recollection looking for this. My crappy memory thanks you.

I’ve heard tell that latter-day VW Group products are better than those that came before. I don’t care: Five years in those trenches are enough to make me swear off the whole group, full-stop. That includes cars I absolutely love, like the Audi D2 S8 and the first-gen VW CC VR6 4Motion.
The recall plan is still in the works and hasn’t actually happened yet, but if it does, it could spell disaster for Subaru.
Indeed, and hello back.

Growing up I amassed a huge trove of car brochures from the late-70s through the early-90s – Datsun, Nissan, Alfa Romeo, BMW, myriad GM, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, etc.
K...
A GLI, though? Not some $149/mo. lease hack.
There is very little true about this statement. My mom drove a BMW Z3. In high school, my friend’s mom drove a 1978 Firebird Trans Am, Bandit-style. There’s a mom at my kid’s school who drive a late-model Jetta GLI, and a few others who drive Wrangler Unlimiteds.
Came here assuming this was Minnesota (local).
