I thought ya’ll moved to Austin to be near the highway 130 Autobahn & Circuit of the Americas?
I quit about 40 years ago after a few too many close calls. Because of the need for constant, intense vigilance and the realization that I could never predict what a car driver might do, it stopped being enjoyable.
I read no mention of fuel tank size. The KLR 650 has a large capacity tank and gets good mileage. It has great range. From where this guy lives he can go a very long way north or south in the mountains on Forest Service Trails, Forest Service Roads and local county dirt roads.
VW Vanagon Westfalia camper, the most perfect vehicle in human history. Long road trips. Elk hunting. Fly fishing. Procreating. Hanging out at the beach. Hanging out un the mountains. Snow skiing.

Here in Texas traffic signs are considered suggestions: speed limit signs, stop signs, stop lights, yield signs, etc.
Crate motor: $8000. Experience: Priceless.
What? It is not electric!
SHTO, on burner on the deck all the way. Do you expect a jet jockey to say anything other than: “Sure, we can do that.”
It is important for others to like the car as well. I addition to many being sold new, that insures a supply of parts and a ready market for buying and selling the cars used. Consider: The 2CV is cooler than a VW Bug. So is a SAAB 96. No sane person would waste money on an old VW Bug if they could waste money on a…

Julios’ Garage can fix body holes by welding in galvanized sheet metal and the thing can be camo painted with rattle cans. Four-wheelers are…
“Civil war” and “revolution” are mostly synonyms. There is sometimes the distiction that in civil war the revolutionaries want to take over the nation state rather than separate from it. So, America’s Civil War was a Revolution under common historical usage since the CSA wanted to separate from the USA not take it…
This is an early 20th century shooting brake. A Nomad wagon can qualify. “Station Wagon” and “Shooting Brake” are synonyms. UK estates used shooting brakes to get guests at train stations. Americans just renamed the shooting brake. A “brake” was horse drawn “wagon” for transporting small groups of people.
It comes from the name of the horse drawn carriages used to transport shooters on UK estates. I do not know how the carriages got the name.
This diesel thing has had me head-scratching for many years. The costs of a diesel vehicle, all-in, are higher than the gasoling version in almost all cases.
That is only 23.74 MPH average. Video shows them going 75 MPH. Where are they crawling along to bring the average down so much?
Well, golfball, consider Kristin above. She wittingly pollutes the planet 104 miles per day but is horrified that she might unwittingly be polluting as if she were driving 114 miles per day. And Don, who is mortified because he cannot park in clean vehicle spots.
