To me, I think Spiderman 2 is probably the better Spiderman film but Into The Spiderverse is the better film about Spiderman...if that makes any sense. It makes sense in my head and I’m terrible putting my thoughts into words.

It’s weird to place the onus on Rogen when it seems like he laid out what he was willing to do for the role and the producers accepted it. And while it’s cool to see many of the cast make an effort on the red carpet I don’t blame someone for dressing how they want. Honestly, why care?
You’re not wrong but I wouldnt say every Wes Anderson film has the same premise. Regardless, the point I was making was about aesthetic. While Kubrick’s aesthetic wasn’t as in your face as Anderson’s, obviously, there is a reason his films have been labeled cold and that a thing called the “Kubrick Stare” exists.
By what metric? Not disagreeing necessarily, just wondering what you’re basing that on.
