Correct. The episode definitely implies that Daniel would plead guilty and allocute in exchange for time served. Zero chance this DA would, in this circumstance, accept that.

It's very possible for the DA to win again because he's going to be facing a jury in Georgia. Location, location, location.

As an attorney who's devoted a significant amount of time the last three years to the Innocence Project, just wanted to weigh in here. You would be surprised how many inmates whose cases we are looking into are completely uncooperative and/or just plain apathetic. I'd put the number at somewhere around 33%. In

One of my favorite AV Club comments ever. Kudos, cabspaintedyellow.

Agreed with about 90% of that…but you listed 5 or 6 truly terrible albums.

I've always thought that Lindsay Buckingham had a look of "Why did I show up for this?" in the video…and the still above captures it perfectly.

Bon Jovi? He certainly wasn't there, and wasn't big enough of a star in 1985 to have been even remotely considered. Who do you think is Bon Jovi in the header? Daryl Hall?

I was going to post something about this! All the hair metal folks were pissed about being left out of We Are The World.

My guess is that episode 10 could be as long as a month after episode 9, if the healing of the scars are any indication.

Sundance isn't going to make any decisions based on ratings. If McKinnon (and the actors) wants to do a 3rd season, he will get it. The show is fairly cheap to produce, so I don't think $ will be an issue.

DBT!

There were three flashbacks:
Video store opens in 1986
Ginger starts working there in 1996
Ginger tells Pam her idea about Fangtasia —-this one wasn't dated I don't think, but it was previously established that vampires came out of coffin in 2006, so would assume it's dated sometime around then

She couldn't do anything about Aynsley anyway. People keep acting like Allison committed a crime —- she DID NOT. There is no duty to rescue. It may have been a morally bankrupt action, but unless they are in Quebec, then the other Canadian provinces follow common law —- then she committed no crime.

"Now I'm thinking that was a ruse on Rachel's part, to get Delphine to get Sarah out of the hospital to warn her, allowing Rachel to snatch Kira."

Agreed. This was the most nonsensical piece of crap I've ever seen for TDVW, who I typically like. This review, however, is garbage.

Damn you AV Club, I had never seen that Big Bird piece before…and now it's full-on waterworks up in here.

I am in complete agreement.

I thought it was an Intellivision?

Larrick is NOT a "Big Bad" —- under any definition of the term.
