OK, but he was in a supporting role as a guest star on The Phil Silvers Show. No one said he had to be a regular.

Somebody please check on Larry Storch.

Actually, he was briefly a supporting player on The Carol Burnett Show. So you're good.

You mean that show didn't star Fran Drescher and Russell Johnson? What were they thinking?

We are definitely not letting the good times in today.

Was it chemistry?

"For years, Johnson expressed frustration over the ceiling that his being
identified as the Professor seemed to put over his career, but in later
years, he seemed to have made his peace with it."

Russell Johnson was always a welcome presence whenever he appeared and made a small sitcom role into an iconic part of TV history. Very sad news.

The one with Joan Collins, in which Batman was sidelined (under hypnosis, I believe) and Batgirl and Robin had to take the lead was the best of third season.

That would be egg-citing, wouldn't it?

Sherwood Schwartz is authentic cheese. In comparison, Ferrell and McKay are a processed cheese-like product.

I'd be much more excited about this if it were produced by Sherwood Schwartz than Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.

Seriously.

Season three was the weakest, but Yvonne Craig made it all worthwhile.

The best ones are still really good. But once they got into season two and especially season three, the budget was cut and they made quite a few that weren't up to standards.

If you saw Victor Buono as King Tut, you wouldn't have forgotten it. Pure awesomeness.

The episode with Joe Estevez impersonating Martin Sheen was especially magnificent.

Agreed, she was distractingly attractive.

And hosting The Tonight Show provides all the crowd worship, easy laughs and big money without having to tour constantly or come up with really good material. No wonder Leno fought like hell to get and keep the gig.

Parks had a slightly higher demo rating while Community had more total viewers than any other NBC sitcom that night.
