You have no idea how happy I am that this show is worthy of Regina King's talents. When she followed up her stellar turn on Southland with an arc on The Strain I was like, girl, fire your agent and then when she showed up on that god-awful American Crime I was like, girl, no, kill your agent.

Normally I would have liked the Grease song choice but this just gave me flashbacks to Stalker and its weekly "up-tempo song slowed down to become creepy stalker anthem" soundtrack. Between this and Ghost Patti I'm like, stop riffing on bad shows, The Leftovers!

The show does this fairly consistently, most recently in tonight's episode when Michonne puts her sword through that random Alexandrite. See also: Enid's parents last week among many others.

Hardwick just read a statement from Gimpel on Talking Dead saying we would see Glenn "or parts of Glenn" in some way, possibly flashback, that will "complete the story."

Hey, remember when the survivors learned back in season one that if they smeared themselves with walker guts they could walk among the walkers without drawing their attention?

Winning>Lifelong friendship

That isn't even the best of the "They're the Worst" moments. That was in the cold open with them dressed in a couples costume except they're both Mustard.

You forgot "hot".

That's a pretty conservative estimate.

Bob updates his Facebook status from “attempted murderer” to “murderer.”

Well, so much for the good will banked by last week's episode!

Go watch Pink Flamingos, Desperate Living and Female Trouble right now. We'll wait.

Are you not familiar with the oeuvre of John Waters?

It's not a comment fight for another day, dammit, it's a comment fight for this day! I was madder than I should've been for a lot longer than I should've been when "HOMR" contradicted this episode's Simpson gene explanation. I realize that The Simpsons is not exactly a slave to continuity but when the series just

Sorry, no, I have to disagree that Dennis's all-in bet on DD3 was a good play. You make that play early in the round but that late in DJ there isn't enough material on the board for him to build back to within half of Sean's score. Bet $5,000 there and if you make it you're up by $4,000 and if you whiff it there's

Michael Weston guest-starred on an episode of Burn Notice. That was a weird-ass couple of seconds when his credit appeared.

I've told this story before but K vs. K prejudiced me against Meryl Streep for literally decades. My parents took me to see it in the theater when it came out, no idea what they were thinking taking a kid that young to that film, and I hated Joanna Kramer with a passion. I hated her for leaving, I hated her crying jag

I've been reading American Gods for the last couple of weeks and finished it up on Friday. I was a bit taken aback by the low-key (no pun intended) ending to the central war and I didn't really understand why some of the asides that were seemingly unrelated to the central story were included. I decided to read it

I think women and seamen don't mix.

I introduced my BFF to Fargo S1 and we finished it up about three months ago. And I agree with you that S2 locked me in much more quickly. I know it was derided here and elsewhere a bit but goddamn if that UFO in the debut didn't lock me in completely. I'm sure a lot of that willingness to buy in was based on the
