Ya they would have lit their asses up.
Ya they would have lit their asses up.
That actor does not miss a line reading.
Nah, he isn’t benefitting from the attention. He’s already too rich to fail, there’s no downside in showering him with negative attention and mocking him mercilessly on the very platform he operates.
Get fucked.
Yeah, I struggle with criticism that a show isn’t just a very different show, ha. I’d probably enjoy it with a tad more realism and focus (the season 1 balance was much much better on that front, I thought, especially the Beard/Lasso argument you mention.
I think the internal denial is pretty rampant with these types, no? Like, pretty classic abuser mentality to not see yourself as having done anything wrong?
“It’s been a minute” is usage that implies a longer time period, though, too. Idioms are fun.
I realize I’m replying to a 13 year old comment but Rubinek is so well cast here and hits the perfect notes. He’s delightful on Frasier too, for the record, playing a much more likable version of romantic competition than we normally get in the will they/won’t they sitcom romance.
I liked Begin Again but didn't have any idea who he was. Everything since then has been steeply downhill.
Yeah. It’s the humanity+the lack of redeemable qualities that makes the show work as a perfect black comedy with some dramatic elements. If any of the main characters was a “good” person the whole thing would be too cruel, I think.
This whole thing just made me think of an alternate universe where The Rock played Superman at some point which I think is such a better fit for him.
Yeah, I don’t think this is an impossibly egregious thing but on the other hand I have a hard time caring that a famous 20 y/o hasn’t yet been able to make their career entirely things they’re artistically passionate about.
Patrick Stewart obviously never had a ton of award-type roles later in his career (not that he hasn’t done some interesting stuff, like Green Room) but man it would have been cool for him to get nominated for Logan.
This movie healed society!
Yeah in addition to typo I legitimately wasn't sure whether Jason Alexander was good in this or not.
One of my favorite bits of the film.
So it's either untrue or... relatable?
January Jones too
It's worse here: actors are supposed to be the characters they portray.
This is Open Range erasure.
