Jeez. When did Michael Phelps move to Tulsa?
Jeez. When did Michael Phelps move to Tulsa?
It's an affront to good taste and it's the antithesis to all that's good and right in the automotive world...NP. Still rather have it with the first-gen bumpers, though.
Hmmm, the Chrysler Cuda... could work.
I used to have the Monogram kit of this car and would like to get it again if they ever reissue it. I would probably spend up to about $30.00 on that. But three hundred thousand dollars? You can get one really nice example of each generation Corvette for that kind of money. This may be a piece of Corvette history,…
As a kid in the '70's in Naples FL, I was often awakened at the crack of dawn by the sound of DC3s "mosquito bombing" overhead. This basically involved several planes flying in formation at what seemed to my eight-year-old mind as about twenty feet overhead to release clouds of pesticide to keep the mosquito…
@BroncoMech: Refined, yes... but how much water will it hold?
This segment aired on TGUK right around the time the rumors were starting to fly about TGUS on NBC. I remember thinking at the time how much I'd like to see this segment with American cars. I have no problem with TGUS doing this segment, although I'd like to see some of the actual challenges differ.
@PHIL: The "Cheapest Corvette Challenge" is a FANTASTIC idea.
If you want a small, sporty convertible in this price range, there's always the Miata. If you need two extra seats, there are a ton of E30 convertibles and VW Cabriolets out there as well.
Want. Just...want.
@VeeArrrSix: Marinated grilled shrimp, cabbage, black beans, grilled pineapple and finely shredded cabbage in a flour tortilla. The Mucho Mojo.
I don't know what this is worth, not really. But I do have a pretty good idea as to the value of a contemporary Ferrari 365, and this is right in that ballpark. I'm sure this car is as perfect as it seems here, but it's just a lot of money for an early '70's Italian 2+2 GT that isn't a Ferrari. Gotta go crack pipe.
It's just so maddeningly vague...
I will NEVER! drive a car that needs a backup camera. If that means never owning another new car after 2014, then so much the better.
@bexc517: Because teenage girls drive Durangos.
@alk3: Jesus. Does that thing run on Red Bull?
@radryan03: +1. I know a guy who drives one of these- he's definitely a bro.
@brahzz killington: Brilliant!
I think it depends largely on the subspecies- "Bros" and "Brahs" tend to have different tastes in transportation. Bros seem to gravitate toward lifted F-150s and Silverados with douchey wheels and (in extreme cases) giant exhaust stacks sticking up out of the bed. Brahs, on the other hand, tend to favor Volkswagen…
