no turbos currently running in F1 also most of the cars running unlimited class today are huge engines 3.0 v6 or 5.0 v8 running over 1000hp with forced induction unless they go super lite then turbo 4cyl turbos think 900hp 2.0 mitsu engines
yes the turbos condense what air there is ... 30% less then Sea level and the Huge wings are used to also compensate for the loss of thick air to achieve downforce
We have not seen a f-1 type car as of yet I have been last 3 years and there were rumors of ALMS cars coming this year but I have not seen any lists yet. the problem is not the pavement its gaining almost 5000 ft of altitude in the 12.5 miles. Turbos with giant wings rule and the pavement is crude in almost every way.
Monster is running electric different category but may set the overall record depending if he can start ... I would watch Rhys Millen moving to unlimited this year and the frenchmen in a GT3 cup car
