The most common offender of “up-badging” I see is the owner of a base 5 series. I don’t get it. The people they are fooling don’t give a shit what engine you have, they just see “BMW”. And the people who DO know what an M5 is (Jalops) know your 18 inch wheels and single-exit exhaust belong to a 528i/530i.

I’m gonna say this is super staged. A supermoto can go much faster than the ~40 mph they were going in this pursuit and he gave up because... the cop almost pulled up to him? Not sure of the motivation for the clip, though; it wasn’t funny, and it wouldn’t deter anyone from running from the cops.

I already pointed out that your hypothetical scenario was unrealistic. People don’t start trashing mailboxes and keying cars and kicking dogs because the owner of that property is standing near them brandishing a weapon.

I fully understand that the ADA doesn’t advocate for the able-bodied. The ADA fights for the disabled to have the same rights and accommodations as the able-bodied. The problem with this lawsuit is that driving is not a right and McD offers the same accommodations to anyone.

Wow. I didn’t know it was my choice to not own a car while attending college in San Francisco. I didn’t realize I CHOSE to be poor and have nowhere to park a car in my neighborhood, could I afford one.
No one is saying the ADA applies to the able bodied. What we ARE saying, repeatedly, is that the disabled do not need any special protection from the ADA in this instance, because they are not treated any differently than an able-bodied person.
