But the neck scarf makes the whole inside comfy.

I feel like we’re on a ship with the engine room starting to flood. Any suggestions on car theme/news sites that are not sinking?

That airport is turrble.

This cop will get out of the charges, simply based on the fact he was incorrectly charged:

No. She told the cop what would happen to her if she got a ticket (probably jail time). The cop then said “give me a good reason not to [make sure you go to jail].”

1) The cop bribed her (hence him getting charged with, wait for it, bribery).

The neck scarf is more useful and smarter than most any other luxury amenity I can think of. If you deem the neck scarf stupid and wasteful, you probably also think air conditioning is a ridiculous idea- A/C actually IS wasteful in that it takes quite a bit of power to run, requires a closed coolant system, and adds

They had to keep you in the grey to bury the story, so they could come at us with this hard-hitting journalism at a later date.

That movie had at least one car on tracks (Bullet Farm boss car), and skis on the front of at least one dirt bike. But I don’t recall seeing a track system on any of the bikes. Missed opportunity for cool post-apocalyptic motorcycle design.

Something designed to extend the time you can use the vehicle for it’s primary purpose (in this case top-down enjoyment) is “stupid and wasteful”?

How were these not in Mad Max Fury Road?

How’d you get my grandma’s spaghetti recipe?

I’m sure a lawyer sees his share of clients with bad cars that were CPO. But Steve sees only that side of the story and his expert opinion is only on that side of the story. (Note I like Steve’s stuff a lot and am not down playing his point).

The most modern (2006 ish+) super sports (600cc class) have extremely peaky power bands. My 2006 R6 had nothing below 7k rpm and a big hit above 10k rpm- not ideal for street riding or getting comfortable dipping into the power.

In the unlikely event the dealer didn’t recondition the car to meet CPO standards, you would have their own paper trail backing you up when you come across a problem. It isn’t really worth the risk for the dealer to lie about performing work on a car when they are signing paperwork stating work has been completed and

I am speaking from first-hand experience having worked in luxury car sales for several years. While there may be SOME individual dealers who skirt the CPO requirements, buying a CPO car is largely a much safer prospect than a non-CPO car with a similar warranty.

I think we can all agree anything other than a three-spoke steering wheel is horrible. The question posed should be “What is the worst three-spoke steering wheel in a performance car?”

CPO cars have gone through specific reconditioning a CarMax car may not have. Also, you can negotiate the price on a CPO car.

I’d be hesitant to spend $2k for a warranty on a $20k car I considered as complicated as a turnip. I personally would never spend that much on a $7k turnip.

I had two F3s back in the day. They were reasobably comfortable and the 95 or so horse power they made was a lot less indimidating than the 120 HP today’s (lighter) 600s make.
