Nah, that’s dumb. It’s like saying you have a love-hate relationship with Hollywood films. Obviously not all of it is going to be great or even good, plenty of it is outright garbage. Saying you “like” something generally comes along with the caveat that you don’t literally like EVERYTHING in said medium.

I like your username fam

This is not true in the slightest, but nice meme. Also, try not to let other peoples’ usage of words affect your ability to do so, it’s just sad.

People who don’t consider themselves to be a part of either of those (even completely against them) use the term. Also, there is much, MUCH worse shit I’ve seen on Splatoon than the term cuck.

Please shut up. You’re relating two entirely different situations and it’s disgusting.

This review wasn’t bad because the reviewer didn’t like the first two games. It was bad because it’s a Kotaku review.

Nah, season 20 was the worst season. Or 17. This one has been back to the heights of seasons 18 and 19.

All one has to do is watch the episodes to refute it. Well done!

Not sure what millenials you’re surrounding yourself by.

Or, more accurately, I think you’re main exposure to “millenial culture” being the AV Club has given you a pretty narrow view of the general consensus. Which, sorry, but AV Club users aren’t even close to representing. It’s basically a hive-mind, with the few

Condescending ass calling another condescending ass a condescending ass.

Welcome to the AV Club! Where everyone is a narrow-minded douche who can’t wait to be pissed at someone else even remotely insinuating a differing stance on literally anything.

Wow you’re an idiot. Clearly insinuating things that the OP never once said, which you’d have known if you’d genuinely read his comment without being clouded by the desperate need to have a counter-point.

You sir, are the ass. And your utter lack of self-awareness is gold.

Yes Yes Yes YES YESSS!

Ito’s work has already been adapted much worse multiple times prior to this anime. The fact that even half of his distinctive style seems to be retained here is admirable.

Lucoa was completely oblivious to human interaction though and they display that many times so it’s easy to understand that she wasn’t intentionally “sexually assaulting” the kid or anything. And honestly, it’s kind of sweet how over the show’s run she starts covering up more to make him less uncomfortable around her.

Wow, this is pretentious. Let people enjoy things and get out of here with your bs “shit taste” mentality. I think you could stand to chill a little as well, as you’re exhibiting a mindset that’s just as bad here.

You’re the piece of shit for bringing irrelevant controversy into the topic. These was no instance of child rape in any of these examples provided. Your slimy tactic is disgusting.

You’re allowing yourself to miss out on a lot of great stuff with that mentality.

Half the stuff you mention you yourself admit are cases in which the characters aren’t even sexualized but use them as examples anyway. And out of the literal hundreds of new series that come out each year, you’re gonna use less than ten instances as your smoking gun (with the previous point kept in mind)? Cecilia

You can clearly see how the fact that her friend enjoyed it desperately ate away at her to the point that she had to scrutinize their humanity multiple times before begrudgingly coming to the conclusion of “yeah, I guess they’re not completely irredeemable deplorables.” It’s a gross mentality that I would never want

That’s what makes Food Wars amazing though, lol.
