Ford ecoboost 1.0 tuned to around 150-200 hp, like the Formula Ford.

i have visions of removing those tire blocks, revving it up to about 8,000 RPM and then just launching it off that VW.

Or even this? Isn't this big enough for one spoiled housewife in a baseball cap chatting on her phone with it glued to her face(even though this has bluetooth) and driving through a mall parking lot?

Why not a Ford 2.3 Turbo engine?

My son is getting my Montego most likely. BURNIN DINOSAURS!

Not a deal-breaker...any Sprite (or Midget) of any year can wear the Bugeye bonnet with minimal alterations. Bonus: the MKII Sprite has a trunk, exterior door handles, and roll-up windows — things the original Bugeyes don't have!

For a Sprite, the BMC 1270 with dual SUs is not only stock, but more than adequate, and a pretty solid engine besides.

Definitely a modern Panther platform car. Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, etc. I can't distinguish which.

Easy. Miata engine. The 1.8L. It's bulletproof, and stock it puts out just enough power to make a Sprite fun without ruining it by overpowering it with too much torque. Plus there's a huge aftermarket of bolt-on parts that lets you progressively increase the go-juice. PLUS it's small enough to fit in the bay without

BMW K-heads fit on the A-series block with a little work. This thread is relevant to my interests, as I'm wondering exactly what to do with a late '70s midget at the moment.

Or will she drive it tomorrow as the worlds best power wheels? Same hp? lol

Did he at least get credit for the hold?

Honestly, I'd look at a Zetec motor for it. You can get adapter plates to bolt a T5 to the FWD Zetec motor (out of a Focus). It doesn't have huge power numbers out of the box, but ~175 is pretty doable with that motor. Do something like a MegaSquirt for the fuel injection, and you'd end up with a quick, reliable,

Worked for Volvo, and even Subaru with their outback (and sportrek?) models.

People are really fat, and have fat kids?

Best part is it's so small you won't have to be the carpool driver or be asked to help people move.

MOAR WAGONS!

When I was a kid some guy down the street took me out in his RHD bugeye Sprite. SUCH a cool little car.

I vote both serious and trolling, if that's a thing.

Some say, she bought her first car at 14 months ... and that her mother mixes in 5W30 with her night time bottle ... all we know is that she's the Stig's illegitimate American daughter.
