My mom had a 1985 Volvo 240 DL wagon and my dad had a 1986 Bronco II. 2 parents, 3 kids. For some reason my parents though the Bronco was always the better sollution for 3 kids. They just criss-crossed the seatbelts to have 3 kids buckled in.

I drove a 1991 thunderbird with a 5.0L over the front wheels for over a year with a blown PS rack and no assist. I'm no hulk, but I did just fine and never once wrecked the car. This isnt a car issue, it, like most recalls, is a driver issue.
