So basically your argument amounts to “Apple is going to buy McLaren because their headquarters are clean?”
This car is far from unique.
Having spent 30 years on track, the idea that you can get a competition licence after 2 days on track is horrifying. I know a bunch of these schools, and despite the positive reviews you read from newbs, they are terrible and woefully equip you for wheel to wheel racing, let alone consistent lapping.
“But the responsibilities are great and the consequences of successful and failed leadership are sweeping.”
Says the guy with a mazda logo?
Well, since you clearly know what you’re talking about, you’ll be aware that performance does not a sports car make. Hence the fact that nearly all of the cars you mention are either muscle cars or super cars. Fast, but boring.
Nah, I’m pretty sure this phrase has been said a lot, “We’re finally out of Mississippi; awesome!”
Let me get this straight. Not only did someone make a faster BRZ (something that Toyota/Subaru alternately tell people they cannot or will not do), but they used a snowmobile motor AND it gets 100mpg? I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Dear Toyota/Subaru, make the 86/BRZ a hybrid, charge $30,000 and market it as an affordable everyday 918/NSX/McLaren P1. It will fix the low torque that everyone whines about and double or triple the MPG. Everybody wins.
I feel like an Evo X is one of those cars you neeed to be careful with when buying used.
You're not wrong.
Despite what the author wrote, I think it deserves to be on the list because it is truly Toyota’s first valid attempt at once-again embracing the heritage of their fun-to-drive, sporty, RWD vehicles that made them so famous throughout the 80’s and 90’s. Enthusiasts had been clamoring for a proper, RWD Toyota since the…
From Subaru’s engineers.
Toyota wanted to brand it a Scion to attract more enthusiast types of customers to the brand. Otherwise it would be a Toyota GT86 in the US.
Your comment is wrong. It’s a good car. It’s not necessarily the best car out there, but it is very good.
Let me get this straight.....
