Their logo looks more like a crystal ball than a drum.

The reporting engines are pretty close to the same. WSUS uses a SQL Express engine, while SCOM requires a full SQL Server system (the requirements are crazy for it, but not unexpected, given the target market). SCE is like SCOM scaled down for mid-sized businesses. It also uses SQL Express. The update engine is

I think the Metro version of IE10 will be one that people finally embrace. The reason why is because IE10 is extremely streamlined and I don't think the UI will change much over the next few years, which will reduce the adverse reactions to change in the UI (IE7 and 8 were big changes in UI, and IE9 was another). Good luck getting driver support anymore for XP. A lot of companies have already stopped producing drivers for XP since Microsoft ended mainstream support. It sounds harsh, but users are better off moving ahead. Putting a 10 year old OS on a new piece of hardware is just plain dumb.

Is it any wonder that China is the biggest country still using it?

Mainstream support for XP ended like 2 years ago, so they're not making new features for it. Security issues that can't be mitigated are the only patches being made for it now. You should've realized this when they didn't make Windows Live Essentials 2011 for it - the last version for XP is 2009.

Not unlike Apple rejecting service on smokers' PCs for health concerns of their employees.

"What part of my post could possibly make you think I was a female??"

Do you want fries with that?

He's choking Schroedinger's chicken.

Maybe if the security chick likes to ride bareback...

Gift cards. That's what we give. We just exchange names for gifts.

500's BC medicine: is there nothing it can't cure?

I'm all for a hot security chick giving me a rub, er... I mean... pat down.

Why distort reality?
