I am not sure whats even being argued here? Longevity of hardcore as a musical genre, or as a subculture/scene, or is it specifically about nostalgia acts?

If you want something newer with a more traditional hardcore sound- especially in the vocals, the new Wiccans record might be right up your alley http://hardwarerecords.band…
It's really really good.

I didn't care for "Compton" when I heard it as a single ( and wondered why the fuck Just Blaze was doing a beat for a song called Compton), but in the context of a redemption song at the end of the record, I like it a lot.
I'm good with the B+ though- it's certainly not perfect. Switch "Poetic Justice"" out with

Between the bong and the beer bottles, and how super twitchy Jesse seemed, I think it' safe to assume he's using again, and Walt's equated giving him a huge pile of money when he's using to killing him before. I don't know that this was any

Wow, Im used crochety throwback hip-hop listeners trashing current rap and making silly grandiose statements about the current state of rap… it's nice to know it sounds just as ignorant if to make the argument in reverse.
Certainly time and context are important to appreciating a record, but if the artists really good

I was at this- it was really neat. Nice to hear it a lot clearer sound wise (and my brain wise- they were giving out lots of free beer).

We used to go there because it was open late, and you could smoke (not really, but no one would stop us.) Never appreciated it for the film until it was too late.
