Yeah, I mean I’d love to see another series down the road focus on the Blackfyre rebellion, or the Dance of the Dragons, or the adventures of Dunk and Egg. There’s probably a dozen historical events that I’d love to see explored further outside of the current narrative. But it would just muck things up right now.

The Blackfyre rebellion was several generations prior to the current events, why would they introduce it at all? It has no relevance to what’s happening in the here and now, outside of (maybe) Faegon in the books, and he isn’t even a character on the show.

It’s possible to beat Dark Souls 3 and have no idea what the hell happened.
