This is actually true of a lot of gaming companies. Nintendo, for instance. There is a parent company that owns both, but functionally they’re different companies who purchase products from one another.

Someone doesn’t get to walk past me, halfway through my conversation, hear something out of context, and then loudly express how awful I am. Yes, people’s feelings should be taken into account. But context matters too, and drive-by outrage doesn’t automatically deserve validation.
