Jacob is the more entertaining character, but Evie is ultimately the better character gameplay wise (her exclusives are vastly superior to Jacob’s).

Yeah, the plot was basically a ‘take’ on Muslims in the UK and Illegal Immigration in the US. Sci-Fi is usually a great place for this kind of thing, but only when handled with more subtlety. This was Star Trek Original Series literally Half-White/Half-Black people levels of hamfisted.

Evie is obscene in this game. Maxed out Knives haven’t failed to one hit kill any enemy I come across.

My favorite part about Ninjas is that, for all the mysticism that’s become associated with them, they were successful because they took advantage of cultural norms in a pretty rigid society.

Yeah, he’s like that in everything. Watch his body language, rubbing the chair, shaking his feet. The interviews clearly make him nervous.

I might actually pick this back up. The grind was just too much for me back when I started, and I kept switching between low level characters... Which made it worse.

:(

Nah, they work fine for pathfinder/D&D. They're basically heroscape figures, and I've used heroscape figures in pathfinder for years. It just gets a little awkward if you've got a bunch adjacent to one another.

Hey, I absolutely agree! Timesplitters was pretty fantastic, but it was a perfection of an older formula, not changing how games were made moving forward.

Half-Life was a fantastic game and certain has its place in FPS milestones, but it wasn’t really ever a true console game, and didn’t sell like one on consoles. Timesplitters, while awesome, wasn’t quite the sensation that Halo would come to be.

They did, the Marvel TV side now handles the kind of things the one shots did.

It’s kind of funny, because the characters in this and in Aftermath were pilots that went into the second Death Star and helped blow it up (Wedge, Shara, ... the mom from Aftermath).

I completely agree, Luke. WW2 bolt-action rifles are definitely the most satisying video game weapons.

These games are still being made? What’s the difference... is it just music selection at this point?

I get so frustrated with one of my friends when he’ll complain about how the lack of a feature he’d like ‘is kind of lazy’ on the part of the Devs.

There is one story I used for all the speeches I was asked to give around my engagement party/wedding. People asked me when I knew she was ‘the one’. My wife and I had been friends in High School and after a couple shaky attempts at dating, I had given up on it happening and was content to just be friends with her.

God bless you.

Based on those scenes of the base and the poster, I’m pretty confident in saying that the snow planet actually has the superweapon built inside it, rather than constructing a whole moon-sized space station.

The ship battles looking freaking amazing in this film, at least so far.

The game heavily foreshadowed the time traveling with the moons, I think, hinting that this is just one way this could play out.
