Yeah, but all that is old EU now. The only canon for Rogue Squadron is that they’re a call sign that shows up in ESB, so just because Rogue Squadron only ‘appears’ in ESB doesn’t mean it couldn’t have existed earlier.

In the EU, Elite Commando squads double as fighter squadrons, the entire X-Wing book series is based on it. I see no reason why that couldn’t continue to be the case.

I really hope we can unlock that Sepia filter in-game. I’m planning on recreating the original Super Mario Land as best as I can.

I would love for a young Biggs to show up in Rogue One. I have zero problems with minor characters from the films being turned into major characters in the anthology. I know learning more about Biggs in the EU made his death more important.

Delia, that’s my sister in law (and my mother, too). Neither of which have ever been as bad as that woman, but for as much as those two love to go out to eat they always seem to hate their meals.

My wife was big into Diablo II when we were teenagers. If she ever accidently let slip she was a girl, people would go super creepy real quick. I can definitely imagine why teen girls today wouldn’t risk it.

It’s broad strokes. The ‘new’ EU they’ve established shares a LOT of similarities with the old EU. They’ve only released 4 or 5 books so far, but all of them could have taken place in the old EU.

I would have voted for young Ben Carson, maybe. Old Ben Carson believes his own legend too much, and seems to have conveniently forgotten how he got where he did in life.

They remake those games, though. Gold/Silver you can buy on the DS right now. In a year or two, they’ll remake Red and Blue again.

Yeah, when I played Heroscape that is what I tried to do. I have a ton of terrain and it took a while to get it set up for epic battles.

Yeah, Heroscape really took a bit of set up to do anything interesting. It was a minimum two hour commitment, with at least one of those hours being set-up and clean-up.

Ed! Thanks for reviewing this. I picked it up the other day, and my first thought was ‘I need to incorporate all my heroscape crap into this’. If this had the terrain of a Heroscape Base Set, it would have been a much more interesting game.

Yep, so they are pretty clearly taking the best story beats of the EU and fusing them together here.
