If you JUST play the main story, You can really just play 1,2,Brotherhood, Revelations and 3. That covers Desmond’s story. The games from then on: Black Flag, Rogue and Unity have all been pretty much stand-alone, which don’t require any of the other games to understand. The rest are side stories that also don’t need

Can someone explain the Fate/Stay series? It seems really confusing to get into, as there are what? 4 or 5 series for it out?

I think you misunderstand my point. He was deliberately talking about how he worked at Zenimax and can’t talk about anything, all night. Unprompted. He would drop hints, show us the Fallout swag he got for free, and then mention how he can’t talk about it. He was trying to get nerd cred, and didn’t get that no one in

Haha, I was going to press him, but he was just so obnoxious with his not-hints that I didn’t want to give him the satisfaction.

This is no joke. There was a guy who works at Zenimax at one of my D&D games a few months ago, and he couldn’t shut up about how he couldn’t tell us what he was working on.

I’d heard that, but I played maybe three or four months ago and didn’t have any problems in California.

I would think it’s because the game is clearly designed for nihilists, and banning them from the game just completes the experience.

Whoops. That was supposed to say ‘multiple games’.

I don’t know. I think Skylanders were less appealing for most fans because they’re limited in their use. The Amiibo are unique in that they’re not for one specific game. They’re a collector’s item + DLC. And while there is a certain amount of truth to what you’re saying, I think it’s also because there isn’t much in

Sheeple, lol? What are you, a late 90’s goth? :P

Out of curiousity, how long do you think it takes to produce/ship the Amiibo?

What? Nintendo doesn’t see any of that secondary market money, though.

Hahaha, my reaction to that was ‘Pokemon Rumble U’ had NFC Figures?

They’re essentially DLC for games. In Mario Kart, they unlock costumes. In Mario Party, a game mode. In Smash Bros, a customizable computer player. In Codename Steam, they unlock new characters.

I got one fairly early, but yeah, you couldn’t find one just sitting on a store shelf for like 6 months.

I think it’s been pretty clear for a while that they had no idea Amiibo would be so popular.

Oh that super-fan-servicey Chun Li scene.

Let’s see...

Since they’re strip mining the great ideas of Kotor, this doesn’t surprise me. We’ve already seen a new homicidal protocol droid in Darth Vader and Kylo Ren is really giving off the Revan vibe. Wouldn’t be surprised if they use the same twist in one of the new movies. Not a bad thing.

Kingpin was a little disappointing for me. I mean, he did a good job overall, and that iconic line in the finale was amazing, but it was up or down whether he felt like a genuine threat or a manchild that for some reason the other villains found intimidating.
